The student community of Niger Delta University (NDU) held a congress on Wednesday 11th April 2018, in respect of the high amount of fees they are paying (the inflation of fees in the school). Comrade Raphael the union president said truly there was no new increment of fees but they have increase fees systematically twice before his time. And the previous Student Union government did not do anything because the Government do give them peanut. He said different personalities in the state called him as he became the president yet he turned the invitations down because he was waiting for the student’s mandate. Now that they have given him their word he is expecting them to stand by him to fight for their rights.
